Gay Cove is located 40 minutes north of downtown Atlanta in the middle portion of Lake Sidney Lanier, on the west side of the lake, just north of Marker 21.
Marker 21 is two coves south of Port Royale Marina on the west side of Lake Lanier, just before Vann’s Tavern boat ramp.
